Explore the vehicle of communication, including basic principles and assumptions, to garner understanding of techniques to influence, persuade, and manage parties in conflict. Observe and participate in conflict management using sources of power, nonverbal communication, listening skills, perception, and dialogue to achieve desired outcomes. Develop communication competence to control conflict. Prerequisite(s): DISR 500, DISR 510, and DISR 516.
